Keep moving forward! Execution on your Dreams and Goals!

Great Morning and Happy Martin Luther King Day!

What better way to kick off this week's topic than to honor Dr. King for his tenacity and resilience.

Taking on your dreams and aspirations won't always be easy, but in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., I encourage you to keep moving forward, no matter what you’re facing.

“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”- Martin Luther King Jr.

Listen… We're officially half way through the month.  By now, you’ve had some time to reflect on 2022, create your vision, set your intentions, and choose a word to capture the essence of this year’s vibe.

This week is all about EXECUTION. That’s right… executing and taking the RIGHT action. But that starts first with putting your goals on paper.

If you skipped this part, pause, pull out your Planned on Purpose Planner and turn to the Annual Goals section. There's eight categories to help you cover every aspect of your life. Set two to three goals per category. This may take a while so literally put some time on your schedule so you can focus.

Once you’ve done so, ask yourself:

  • What are the top three goals on this list that can set me up for success in 2023?
  • Which three goals would make the biggest impact on my life?
  • What area is tugging at me the most??

Once you've identified these... Use the Worksheet to break each one down to the habit level. Habits are the actions that you take daily or weekly that will bring you closer to your goals.  If the goal is to lose 20lbs, the habits may be to make healthier food choices and walk a mile three times a week. Habits take us from wishing for it to working for it!

Remember, goals + aligned actions puts your vision in motion! If you’re struggling with taking your goals from your planner into action, I have something for you! Join me Tuesday, January 31st for the Made for More Masterclass.
